Another band of light snow is now moving through the Metro. Another half inch of snow is possible with this band as it crosses Des Moines just before the rush home from work. It should come to an end around 6 PM.

It will be cold tonight as temperatures drop back into the single digits under cloudy skies.

A few more week disturbances will move through Central Iowa on Tuesday and again on Wednesday. Each system will bring another dusting to 1". When Wednesday evening rolls around, we should have an additional 2 to 3" of snow on the ground.

Temperatures will remain below average for the entire week, ranging from the single digits to the 20s.
