What's Bugging Andy this week has gone to the movies, literally. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is in theaters and is based on J.R.R. Tolkien's book.
But the classic tale has been glamorized and rewritten and given the Hollywood spin so that it hardly resembles the simple, yet exciting tale of the young hobbit trying to get back to the shire after being swept into a whirlwind adventure. Has the movie gone too far or is it merely following the public's interest?
