Woman tasered

We now know how much money the city of Chariton is paying a woman after she was tased by a police officer.

According to the settlement documents, 34-year-old Cherish Amy Storm will get $67,500.

In 2010, Chariton police officer Tyler Ruble pulled over Storm because he believed she was the victim of domestic abuse. In video of the arrest, Officer Ruble is shown repeatedly tasing Storm in the back of his squad car while her hands and ankles were cuffed.

The terms of the settlement prevent Storm from commenting on the incident.

What the heck? Sounds like he’s the one who needed to be tased.

    I agree with you Momk90

  • “Chariton police officer Tyler Ruble pulled over Storm because he believed she was the victim of domestic abuse.”

And THEN WHAT.. decided since she wasn’t abused he would abuse her?

And NOW, she cannot discuss what this low life excuse for a L.E.O. did to her?

And no doubt he still has his job.

No doubt he still has a job they made his Sargent! Also he was accused of beating his own wife and the chief of Police didn’t charge him.
But the tax payers have to pay this while he still collects a salary.

  • Chariton must have a pretty good budget to be able to pay out for damages. Hang in there Chariton taxpayers.. this guy will keep costing you more and more money. Guys like this don’t stop. He will end up killing someone one one of these days.

Obviously someone had a score to settle with the Chariton police department and/or Tyler Ruble. I question why they waited so long to bring it to the news media. Also the video of the incident was uncalled for. Very poor taste.

  • OBVIOUSLY James Skinner, you haven’t been paying attention. This has been in the news for THREE years.

And speaking of POOR TASTE.. A Police Officer who would taser a woman who was NO THREAT to him is what is in poor taste.

Wait for it… Watch for it… You haven’t seen the last of this officer. He will be in the news again.

  • Obviously Wasn’t The Case When I Was A Police Officer….Chief Vernon White Would Have Had A BIG Piece Of You For Such An Incident!….Rick
