Dan Zimmerman from Complete Nutrition shared tips on how to get in shape for the new year. One of the most important things to do is to find time to work out, even if it’s at home. Zimmerman recommended exercising bigger muscle groups, like your legs, if you are crunched on time. Squats and lunges make a great workout and you don’t have to do them for hours for them to work.
Zimmerman also recommended to make your goals for fitness reasonable and attainable, remembering to ease yourself into a workout pattern. Instead of starting off at 6 days a week at the gym, aim to get there 2 to 3 days a week and then up the number of days from there when you are comfortable.
