FALLING ICE: Warm Temps Could Bring Problems
The warm temperatures have been nice but the ice melting has many concerned about falling ice and flooding.
Officials are warning people to be cautious and careful when walking near high-rise buildings because chunks of ice could fall and crash onto the sidewalk. The rising temperatures could also cause flooding.
Many sewer grates are still buried under the winter snow and preventing the water from draining. The new puddles could freeze overnight, causing dangerous slick sports on the roads.
