The Iowa legislature will be getting back to business on Monday morning and with election season looming, many worry there won't be that much happening at the capitol.
Republican Jeff Boeyink for the LS2 Group said last year was a great session for Iowa politicians and this year should bring more of the same. Likely issues to hit the floor this year will be anti-bullying laws, student debt and veterans initiatives, Boeyink said.
Democrat State Senator Matt McCoy said he thinks this session will be short but will likely address the minimum wage, education reforms and the health exchange.
