Cold Canadian air is spilling into the state. This is creating wind chills at dangerous levels over northern Iowa this morning. The winds will start to diminish this afternoon. Another storm system will bring light snow and strong winds once again to portions of northern and eastern Iowa for Saturday. A warming trend will take over this weekend with high temperature readings soaring into the upper 30s to near 50 for Sunday.
