A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect across northern Iowa through Noon today. Wind chills this morning will range from -20 to -30.

Light, fluffy snow will fall over Iowa late this afternoon and tonight with accumulations of an inch or so followed by another shot of brisk northwest winds and bitterly cold arctic air. This will bring areas of blowing snow to northeast Iowa and drop wind chills to dangerous levels Wednesday Night into Thursday Morning, from as low as 25 below zero south to 40 below zero north.
