A hearing is being held Tuesday night in West Des Moines to decide the fate of a dog deemed “vicious” by animal control.

The boxer-pitbull mix, named Killer, is accused of biting four people last year and all of the bites were unprovoked.

The dog is being held in quarantine while its owners fight to get the dog back. If their bid is unsuccessful, the dog will be euthanized.

The hearing is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. in council chambers.
