People got together in Des Moines on Saturday to encourage Hillary Clinton to make a presidential run in the 2016 elections.
The rally on Saturday afternoon was put on by the national group ‘Ready For Hillary Campaign’. The event was held at Exile Brewery in downtown Des Moines.
The group’s goal at the rally is to build grassroots support for Hillary and encourage her to declare her candidacy for the 2016 presidential race.
Organizers of the event said they think there is no better time for Clinton to run.
“I don’t think in my lifetime, and I have worked on eight presidential campaigns, that I’ve ever met anybody more qualified to be the President of the United States,” said Craig Smith of Ready For Hillary.
The group, Ready For Hillary is not a campaign. They said they just want to get people involved and encourage support for Hillary Clinton.
