POSTAGE PRICES: Stamps Go Up To 49-Cents

Mailing a letter just got more expensive.

On Sunday the price of stamps went up from 46-cents up to 49-cents.  While a three-cent price increase may not seem like a lot, it is the largest pricing increase for stamps in more than one decade.

The U.S. Postal Service made the decision in December.  Representatives of USPS said it needed to keep up with inflation and generate more revenue.
