VICIOUS DOG: West Des Moines City Council To Decide Pitbull’s Fate

The West Des Moines City Council will meet on Monday to decide the fate of a pitbull.

The dog, named Killer, was seized from his home after biting three people over the last nine months.  The owners argued that the dog was provoked by teens in the neighborhood.

The city council will discuss Killer’s future in a closed door meeting before their regularly scheduled meeting at 5:30 p.m. Council members could decide whether the dog can be trained or if they will need to euthanize Killer.

No matter what the council decides, the owners are the ones to blame for this dogs fate. I have no problem with Pit Bulls but I do have a HUGE problem with people who get them and do not realize the training and discipline that is need to have such a dog.

Has anyone thought to reach out to Cesar Milan, the “Dog Whisperer” to see if he would take this dog to rehabilitate him? I hate to see this happen because the humans didn’t have a clue what they were doing.
