Waukee city leaders are holding interviews Tuesday in the search for a new police chief.

Current Police Chief Larry Phillips is retiring in March. He has served with the city for 34 years.

The five finalists for the position are:

Jeff Foster — District Executive Officer, Aurora, Colorado

Brian Hughes — Police Chief, Webster City, Iowa

Christopher Jones — Police Captain, Marshalltown, Iowa

John Quinn — Assistant Director, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, Des Moines, Iowa

Tim Sittig — Police Chief, Pleasant Hill, Iowa
