FILM FESTIVAL: Floppy To Make Rare Appearance

Back by popular demand, Floppy will come out of storage and make an appearance at the Iowa Hall of Pride.

The State Historical Museum is loaning out Floppy for a display at the Duane and Floppy Film Festival on February 8th.

“This is a unique opportunity for Iowans to see and learn more about Floppy and the Hall of Pride all at one time,” Iowa Hall of Pride director, Jack Lashier said.

Floppy and Duane Ellett starred in a children’s variety show on Channel 13 from 1957 to 1987.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased by calling (515)564-8507. Floppy will be on display from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
