TOO STRONG: Kansas Beats ISU
The Cyclones haven’t left the Phog happy in nearly a decade.
Few teams have.
Iowa State took on Kansas for the second time in 16 days, Wednesday. They lost the first game and it didn’t start well for the Cyclones.
Kansas soon found the lead, Iowa State did well to go into the break down three, 46-43.
In the second half, again the Cyclones didn’t look ready. Kansas quickly went on an 11-0 run.
ISU scraps back to get in the game again. Georges Niang with a bounce back game gets 24 and helps get the Cyclones within one at 73-72.
But KU were just too much. Kansas wins, 92-81 to extend their unbeaten run in the Big 12.
