FATAL FIRE: Victims’ Names Released

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of five people killed in a fire at a rural home last week.

Crews were called to 5094 F Avenue, which is about four miles southwest of Arlington, in the early morning hours of January 25th. The home was fully engulfed in flame when firefighters arrived and they were unable to enter the home.

Killed in the fire were 27-year-old Amanda Lynn Smith-Miller, 30-year-old James McCain, 84-year-old Gil Stachar, four-year-old Delacisey Seales, and one-year-old Isabella Miller.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
