Super Bowl Sunday is just days away and many across the country are gearing up for the big game. For some that means fun commercials, lots of junk food and a great game to watch.
This year, no matter which team you’re rooting for, Iowa State University is guaranteed to come away with win.
KING-TV 5 in Seattle shows how two former Cyclones coaches will meet on the field at the biggest football game of the year.
Three decades ago, Pete Carroll and John Fox paced Iowa state’s sidelines when they worked as assistant coaches in their younger days. Fox in 1984 and Carroll in 1978.
Knowing how these coaches run their teams could be a good predictor at which team will come out on top of Sunday’s game. Will the game favor Fox’s reserved and pragmatic style or will Carroll’s high energy win the day?
Either way, the chance combination of two former Cyclones coaches leaves Iowa State the big winner in the end. And on Sunday, the two will compete on opposite sides of the endzone for the biggest title in professional football.
