A WIND CHILL ADVISORY is in effect until Noon. The wind will not be as strong...but we will still have dangerous wind chills of -25 to -30.

Highs will be in the single digits until we hit the teens on Friday.

There is a chance for light snow late Friday night to Saturday morning.

So far this winter in Des Moines we have recorded 27.1" of snow since Dec. 1. That is over 8" above average.
