A Des Moines woman convicted of vehicular homicide is out of prison 21 years before her sentence was up.
Iowa Department of Corrections Officials confirm Angela Arellano was freed from prison Thursday morning. She served just under four years of her 25-year sentence.
Arellano pleaded guilty in a hit-and-run accident that killed 13-year-old Devin Fry and seriously hurt another teen in September of 2009. Reports are that Arellano was drunk when she got behind the wheel and hit the teens as they were crossing the street.
State officials say Arellano had good behavior while in prison.
