An Iowa teenager convicted of killing his grandparents is set to be sentenced this week.
In October, Isaiah Sweet was found guilty of two counts of first degree murder for the shooting deaths of his grandparents. Rick and Janet Sweet were killed in their Manchester home in May of 2012.
Sweet was 17 when he committed the crime but due to the nature of the crime he was tried as an adult.
According to court documents Sweet will be sentenced on Wednesday. The mandatory sentence for first degree murder in Iowa is life in prison.
