Iowa campers are dreaming of much warmer weather and that has advanced park reservations heating up. Spots for Memorial Day weekend are now limited.

According to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, six state parks have filled all of the campsites that offer electricity for the holiday weekend.

Ledges, Green Valley, Prairie Rose, Lake Anita, and Rock Creek have only handicap accessible campsites available.

Campers can go online and reserve a site up to three months ahead of their first night on the state’s reservation website.
