COLD THURSDAY: Wind Chill Advisory

A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect through 11 a.m. Thursday for Central and Northern Iowa. Wind chills will be around -20 to -30, so plan on another very cold start to the day.

This afternoon will be sunny but very cold. Temperatures will barely get above zero on Thursday with a high of only 6 degrees. Wind chills will hold below zero all day.

Another storm system will bring light snow to Central Iowa on Friday. Temperatures will moderate to the teens during the weekend with more snow possible Saturday night through Sunday morning.
