Autopsies performed on two bodies found in a home in Boone last month have determined the cause of death to be drug overdoses.

Forty-seven-year-old Lisa Kurth and 56-year-old David Morrison were found dead inside the home at 2149 Cedar Street on January 24th. Officials say there were no outward signs of trauma and ordered autopsies to determine the cause of death.

The State Medical Examiner’s Office says Kurth died of acute morphine and methamphetamine intoxication. Morrison’s cause of death was acute morphine intoxication.

Both deaths have been ruled accidental.
