Police said a neighbor turned himself in for the shooting deaths of two sisters of an Iowa lawmaker.

Forty-three-year-old Allen Wade is accused of killing Susan and Sara Wolfe.  Wade faces two counts of homicide, robbery and burglary charges.

Police found the bodies of the sisters with gunshot wounds to their heads in the basement of their Pittsburgh home last month.   The two are the sisters of State Representative Mary Wolfe.

“I’m extremely appreciative of the hard work and dedication of the Pittsburgh law enforcement community and of the unwavering support my family and I have received,” said Representative Wolfe in a statement Wednesday.
