The National Weather Service says, as of now, it doesn’t look like we’ll experience spring flooding.

The second spring flood outlook was released Thursday.

The NWS says the overall flood outlook for central Iowa looks near or below normal in most locations. Keep in mind, that’s only if we receive normal rainfall through early June.

The report also says there’s the possibility ice jams will cause significant, localized flooding.
