RAMS WIN: Southeast Polk On To Championship Game

After trailing for much of the first half, the Southeast Polk girls basketball team battled back in the second half.

The final score put the Rams over Waterloo West, 54-46.  Jessica Cole had 16 points for the Rams, Abby Penquite had 15.

The Wahawks were led by Blair Thomas with 18.

Southeast Polk is now 18-6 on the year. They will face either West Des Moines Dowling or Iowa City High in the State Championship game Saturday night.

During the postgame comments some of the players gave humorous accounts of their pre-game routines.
