Police arrested a Des Moines woman after she allegedly rammed a squad car Thursday night.

Officers were in the 1300 block of East 14th Street around 7:15 p.m. when they observed 24-year-old Janee Jones of Des Moines screaming and kicking 24-year-old Jasmine Price’s SUV.

Police say Price got in her vehicle and began to ram Jones’ vehicle. Oficers pulled in behind Price to try to stop her, but Price smashed into the police car.

Officers reportedly pulled price out of her vehicle at gunpoint. She’s facing charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, driving while suspended and not having insurance.

Jones is charged with disorderly conduct.
