Whether you just rolled into lent season or are just looking for a new recipe to try, Fareway meat specialist Steven Peterson has some tasty new fish recipes to cook.
Peterson said cod is always popular in classics like fish and chips but you can also use it for a tasty filet. He recommended a panko-crusted filet, baked for around 50 minutes or until flaky.
Another popular fish gaining popularity is tilapia. You might have seen it listed in a salad or in fish tacos because it is so mild and juicy. Tilapia is great with a parmesan crust. Peterson recommended making it with a little oil, flour, egg and just a hint of seasoning for optimal flavor.
