The warm-up begins on Sunday with temperatures rising to the low to middle 50s for much of Central Iowa. It will be breezy with winds out of the SSW at 10-20 mph gusting to 25 at times.

Monday looks to be perfect with mostly sunny skies and highs jumping into the 60s in Central and Southern Iowa.

Tuesday brings a slight chance at a couple of rain showers, but the rest of the week looks to stay dry.

We are looking for a slight cool down by Wednesday, but we quickly rebound back into the middle 50s by the end of the week.
