An Altoona woman charged in a double murder case from 1983 has pleaded not guilty in the case.
Fifty-three-year-old Theresa Supino is charged with two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of Steven Fisher, her estranged husband, and his girlfriend Melisa Gregory. Their bodies were found badly beaten at the Copper Dollar Ranch near Newton on March 3rd, 1983.
Though Supino was at the Jasper County Courthouse Monday morning, she did not appear in front of a judge. Instead, a written plea of not guilty was entered.
Investigators have not revealed what led to a break in the case.
