Law enforcement officials say two bodies found in a fire in Crawford County Monday are the victims of homicide.
A 1:00 p.m. news conference is being held Thursday at the Crawford County Courthouse to release more information on the case.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation says the bodies were located when fire crews were called to a property between Deloit and Denison on a structure fire. When crews arrived they found a mobile home burning.
During firefighting efforts, two bodies were discovered. Autopsies were performed at the State Medical Examiner’s Office Tuesday. The names of the homicide victims have not been released.
