BRONCOS WIN: Third Place For Belmond-Klemme

The Belmond-Klemme Broncos came out shooting in their consolation game in Class 1A against Keota at the Boys State Basketball Tournament Friday.

The Broncos won 68-53 to take home the third place hardware. Coach Jerry Lane said it was an emotional day, coaching his son since elementary days.  He said it was good to see his team cut loose with their shooting. Court Christianson led the Broncos with 23. The team shot 47% in the game.

The Broncos' season ends with a 24-4 record.
