Iowa State Cyclones advance to the Big 12 Championship final after beating Kansas 94-83 in Kansas City.
The #16 Cyclones were led with Georges Niang and DeAndre Kane. They scored 25 and 20 points respectively to dispatch #10 Jayhawks that had already beaten them twice this year.
Niang was forced off the court after suffering a bloody gash to the head in the closing minutes.
Iowa State matched its second most wins in a season. They’ll hope to add another W into the column when they face either Texas or Baylor for the Big 12 crown on Saturday at 8 p.m.
