Overnight tonight skies will be clear and winds light, allowing for a chilly morning on Monday. Lows will be in the teens and low 20s across the state.

St. Patrick's Day is looking much warmer. Strong south winds will push highs into the 60s over SW Iowa. Des Moines will see highs near 60 as well with plenty of afternoon sunshine.

On Tuesday, a cold front will bring a chance at a few rain showers, and eventually a change to snow in NW Iowa late Tuesday into Wednesday.

Temperatures throughout the week should be in the 40s and 50s, though a few 30s will be possible at times, especially over the northern third of the state.
