Des Moines police are investigating an early morning home invasion.

Police were called to 4021 Hampton Circle, lot number 115 just after 5 a.m. Thursday morning.

A man living in the mobile home told officers two men threw a brick and shattered the sliding glass door to his bedroom where he was playing video games.

When the masked suspects came inside they pointed semi-automatic pistols at him and demanded he give up his Xbox and cash.

When the victim yelled at the suspects to get out of his house, he says the men hit him in the head and neck.

The victim ran into the kitchen where another resident, who heard the commotion, was standing. She told officers the men also pointed their guns at her as they left.

She thinks the men were sent to the home by someone else who is upset over a court case she is involved in.

Police say the culprits left without taking anything.

No arrests have been reported.
