LAST MINUTES: Flight MH370 Transcript Obtained

(CNN) — No struggle. No panic. No clues.

A purported transcript of the final 54 minutes of communication with Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 reveals nothing to suggest a problem — either mechanical or man-made.

Britain’s The Telegraph obtained what it reported to be the transcript of exchanges between copilot Fariq Abdul Hamid and air traffic controllers from before the flight took off until the final transmission of “alright, good night.”

CNN was unable to immediately verify the authenticity of the transcript. The Telegraph reported that the Malaysian government declined to release it.

According to the report, nothing in the purported transcript suggests that anything unusual or untoward occurred before communications with the Boeing 777 ended.

It said Hamid signed in at 12:36 a.m. local time on the flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. CNN has reported the last transmission from the plane occurred at 1:19 a.m.

At 1:07 a.m. local time, Hamid says the plane was flying at a cruising altitude of 35,000 feet, which repeated information provided six minutes earlier, The Telegraph reported.

A former British Airways pilot who flew the same kind of aircraft found nothing suspicious about that exchange.

“It could be as simple as the pilot forgetting or not being sure that he had told air traffic controllers he had reached the altitude,” the former pilot, Steve Landells, told The Telegraph. “He might be reconfirming he was at 350 (35,000 feet). It is not unusual. I wouldn’t read anything into it.”

Nothing unusual appears in the purported transcript around the plane’s final transmission, which came two minutes before its transponder stopped working, The Telegraph reported.

    No more than 2 pieces as Rebecca said. Where is all this floating debris? If there is a section this big there would be Seats all sorts of stuff floating. Also why did none of the pingers go off when it hit water. Even if these were to drop to the bottom. they are made to release from the holder Under water pressure. They would be in the front of the plane in the tail and also in all the life rafts. There could have been up to 10 of them aboard. Why did none go off?     There were 239 people on the flight- that’s a potential about 500 close relatives to interview but so far we have heard from only a few – where are the other ‘western ‘ families?

      Flight was already cruising at 35000 ft.. But pilot still confirmed with ATC that he is flying at 350. Why? My Theory: He saw some light which might be aircraft nearby and thought m I flying at wrong altitude. So again confirmed from ATC. And the aircraft collided mid air with MH370.

    I am surprised at the West immediately discounting the two iranians since
    Iran is always demonised and any way of linking it to this would be taken even with new iran leader?
    Therefore the 2 other leading possibilities are pilot / crew suicide and/or that the plane was shot down either by mistake or the belief it was a 9/11
    scenario
    The malaysians have come across as if they are following orders from overseas at their daily press conference and the sudden pinpointing of
    the location prior to landing debris was the first I heard of inmarsat being involved
