There will be plenty of sun today, but highs will only be in the low-30s for much of the state. Unfortunately the cold air will not leave with the weekend, as 30-degree temps are expected into the middle of the week.
Our next chance of precipitation will be some snow on Monday. A weak disturbance will drop some light slushy snow during the mid-day on Monday. A lot of snow will melt as it falls and most accumulations will occur in grassy areas. The snow range will be 1 to 3". It will quickly melt as temperatures will be back above freezing by Tuesday afternoon.
Temperatures will be back in the 40s and 50s for daytime highs by the end of the week.
