RIVER RESCUE: ‘Today Show’ Interviews Iowans

Some Iowans made an appearance on the Today Show Monday morning after a daring rescue last week in Fort Dodge.

Brothers Corbin and Dylan Crawford had to be rescued from the Des Moines River Thursday after they went out on the ice and a portion broke away, floating them down the river and closer to a hydro-electric dam.

Firefighter Alan Angstrom with the Fort Dodge Fire Department helped get the boys off the ice safely.

Angstrom, Corbin, Dylan, and the boys’ mom Barbara all flew to New York for an interview with Savannah Guthrie on the Today Show. You can watch the interview below.
