Enjoy our Sunday warm up! Temperatures will rise from the 30s, quickly to the 50s by mid-day, and finally the low 70s by late afternoon. A strong southerly wind at 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph will help this warm up along. Skies will be sunny.

It will be a different weather story for Monday. There will be more clouds and showers and isolated storms at times. The morning will start with a few showers. We will have a break mid-day from the rain, but more showers and a few storms look to develop in Western Iowa during the afternoon moving through Central Iowa late in the day. Temperatures will hold in the 60s for daytime highs.

The remainder of the week will be cooler with daytime highs holding in the 40s.
