Overnight, the strong southerly wind will hold temperatures up in the 50s for a very mild overnight. It will also push in some moisture for showers and thunderstorms on Monday.

There will be more clouds along with showers and isolated storms early Monday. We will have a break mid-day from the rain, but more showers and a few storms look to re-develop in during the afternoon. Storms may begin along I-35 or just into Western Iowa, but as the storms develop and push east, the chances of rain or even strong storms will be a bit higher. Temperatures will hold in the 60s and even 70s for daytime highs.

The remainder of the week will be cooler with highs in the 40s and 50s.
