A New Jersey amusement park is making progress on construction for a record-breaking drop ride.

Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom at Six Flags Great Adventure rockets riders up 415 feet, then drops them at 90 miles per hour. The trip up is 30 seconds and the trip down is only 10.

The final track piece was added April 1st and now crews are working on the life mechanism. Extensive testing will be done before the ride is opened, which is expected to be over Memorial Day weekend.
