PHARMACY ROBBED: Police Seek Suspect

suspect

Des Moines police are hoping the public can help them catch a man who robbed a pharmacy earlier this week.

The Walgreens at 2545 E. Euclid was robbed early Monday morning. Police say a man entered the pharmacy and demanded prescription medications from the pharmacist. No weapon was shown.

The pharmacist gave the man the drugs and he left.

Police say the suspect is a white male about five-foot-nine and 200 pounds. He was wearing a dark-colored coat and a black stocking cap.

If you have any information about the robbery you’re asked to contact Polk County Crime Stoppers at 223-1400.
