Hundreds gathered Thursday evening to honor a motorcyclist that police say was killed by a drunk driver.

A few hundred motorcyclists blocked off the bridge on East 30th Street near Dean. They revved their engines and lit candle-balloons. It was all to honor 51-year old Mike Harden of Des Moines.

Harden died this week, ten days after police say he was hit by a drunk driver on the bridge. That driver, 21-year old Jacob Phipps, is charged with vehicular homicide.
