Des Moines police are investigating a drive-by shooting and they’re still looking for suspects in the case. It happened in the 1100 block of 13th Street Wednesday night just after 8:00.

A witness told officers he saw a grey Pontiac Grand Am with a missing hubcap on the passenger side drive up next to a black car. The witness heard people in the grey car shouting racial slurs at people in the black car, then three gun shots were fired from the Grand Am toward the black car.

The passengers of the black car got out and hid behind another vehicle before running into a house on the block.

Police found shell casings on the ground at the scene of the shooting.

No arrests have been reported.
