Overnight a few isolated thunderstorms and scattered showers will develop in western and northwest Iowa. Rain should be relatively light, though some of the showers may linger into Sunday mid morning, west of I-35.

Rain and storms will redevelop in Western and North Central Iowa Sunday afternoon and eventually drop south late in the evening into Monday morning. While Central Iowa could see a few isolated showers in the morning, the best chance for rain will fall in Western Iowa and also North Central Iowa north of Highway 20. Better rain chances for Central and Southern Iowa will be late Sunday into Monday.

More rain is in the forecast by the middle of the week as temperatures remain in the 60s/low 70s.
