Overnight, isolated showers and thunderstorms will continue over the NW half of the state. Rainfall totals will be very spotty, but a few isolated areas could see over a quarter of an inch of rain within storms.

A cold front will push through the state on Monday. This will give us our best chance of seeing showers and isolated storms in the Des Moines Metro on Monday morning. Rain totals will be less than a .25". Thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon over the SE third of the state.

Tuesday will be sunny with highs will be in the upper 60s. There is another chance of storms Wednesday and Thursday.
