WARM EASTER SUNDAY: Active Weather Week

Overall, Easter Sunday looks to be pretty nice and warm. One of the warmest Easters in quiet some time! Highs will reach the upper 70s in Central Iowa with a strong southerly wind. The best chance of showers will be across Western into North Central to Northeast Iowa, right along a stationary front.

A cold front will push through the state on Monday. This will give us our best chance of seeing showers and isolated storms in the Des Moines Metro on Monday morning. Rain totals will be less than a .25".

Tuesday will be sunny with highs will be in the upper 60s. There is another chance of storms Wednesday and Thursday.
