Branstad’s spokesperson says the governor left Tuesday and will meet with business prospects and existing Iowa industries whose headquarters are in California. He’ll spend most of his time in the Los Angeles area.

Iowa Economic Development Authority director Debi Durham is traveling with him. The trip is paid for by state business development funds from the IEDA.
