In-state tuition will not increase at Iowa’s three regent universities. It will likely stay the same for the second year in a row.

Wednesday, the Iowa House and Senate approved an education spending bill that will increase funding for the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, and the University of Northern Iowa next year. That will allow the schools to freeze tuition again.

The bill now goes to the governor for his signature.
