Drake University Army ROTC cadets held their annual push-up-a-thon near the Blue Oval, Friday.
Each cadet is sponsored so the more pushups they do in two minutes, the more money they raise.
All of the money goes to the Red Cross.
“We have some pretty strong cadets. In our last PT test a couple of weeks ago we had some cadets that were able to do 112 in two minutes and all our females have been able to max their pushups in the event as well,” associate professor of military science, Captain Kendra Fewell said.
The money is still being counted but the cadets raised at least $500 for the Red Cross.
